Alaska Huts National Survey

Survey Respondents Can Enter to Win a Trip to
Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge

Alaska Wildland Adventures and the Alaska Railroad have donated a premiere trip to the brand new Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge, and we offer it as incentive for you to help us with our new nationwide huts survey. The lodge is operated under the same principles of ecotourism adopted by Alaska Huts and is surrounded by Kenai Fjords National Park. Alaska Wildland Adventures is one of Alaska ’s strongest advocates for putting the eco in eco-tours and has been for years. The new lodge is accessible via a grand boat excursion with opportunities to see whales, sea lions, sea otters, and sea birds. The trip includes rail passage on the Coastal Classic train from Anchorage to Seward (right through the mountains proposed for a hut-to-hut route.) The trip also includes the sea cruise and a night at the new lodge, located with a view of the massive Pederson Glacier and its icebergs.

Alaska Huts is working with Agnew::Beck Consulting in Anchorage and LeapUp Marketing of San Francisco to complete this nationwide survey, part of a market analysis for huts in Alaska .
