Wood Stock!

axe

In celebration of Public Lands Day, a group of over 25 Alaska Huts staff and volunteers gathered on September 26th for a weekend of work, play, wood stacking, good food and music at Manitoba Cabin. Thanks to all of our volunteers we were able to get five cords of wood stacked and ready for the winter, a new roof built over the propane tanks on the main cabin and a general deep clean in preparation for the winter.

The cabin is looking better than ever, and with the termination dust creeping down Manitoba it’s looking more and more like winter. We are currently taking reservations through March, and weekends are filling up fast so reserve a bunk today.
