  • Patituccis Sell Out the Bear Tooth

    Dan and Janine Patitucci’s brilliant photos from the mountaintops and glaciers of the Alps showed some of the best of Europe to a sold-out crowd at Bear Tooth Theatrepub March 18. The photos and stories captured some striking differences in outdoor activity and culture when compared to the U.S. — hugely popular ski rando/ski mountaineering race events, mountain running tours, and of course, the huts themselves and the level of mountain access they provide. Alaska Huts thanks the local crowd that attended, the show’s many national and local sponsors, and the Patituccis.
